JILL & ADAM GET MARRIED!!

Jill & Adam were married at Fairmont Le Chateau Montebello in Montebello, Quebec. A fabulous venue for a fabulous couple.

While the entire day was amazing for Jill & Adam who made the trip to Montebello from their ocean front home in Nova Scotia, the ceremony was extra special.  Jill's father Charles Hackland officiated the ceremony. How touching to have your father marry you! It was absolutely beautiful and filled with love.  A shout out to Flowers Talk who did all the wedding party flowers as well as the ceremony and reception decor.

LCM weddings hold a special place in my heart as this is where I got married back in 2008.  Derrick Rice of Union Eleven who photographed Jill & Adam's wedding day was my photographer as well so working with him at LCM was a real treat. Viva and Derrick have teamed up on a few LCM weddings now and it's always a blast.  Offering an artistic, documentary style of shooting, he believes in letting life unfold in front of the camera and doing whatever is necessary to keep up with the moment.  Enjoy some of his images below of Jill & Adam's wedding day!



AMANDA & ADAM GET MARRIED!!

Amanda & Adam's wedding was a blast! The day started for Amanda as most wedding days do for the bride, with hair and makeup.  Elio Haddad and Seema Haider made her beautiful, although Amanda really didn't need any help. The ceremony, cocktails and reception all took place at Senhor Santo Cristo Church. AWE Events did a great job dressing up the hall with floral centerpieces and decor.  Julie from Sugar & Spice Custom Cakes created the beautiful cake and Lolacher's Catering not only served up a delicious meal, the late night seafood buffet was unbelievable! A shout out to Wishtree for the invitations and Luxe Bridal Boutique. Amanda was a Luxe Bridal bride. 

Kathy from Fleischer Photography captured the day on film.  Fleischer photography has been celebrating life since 1978. Since 2005 Kathy has become lead photographer and owner, continuing in the footsteps of her mother Monika. Fleischer photography is built on the foundation of quality and client focus. Today, Kathy sees life through the lens as a mother and as a wife. Capturing authentic moments created by the most important part of life.  Love.

ERIN & JED GET MARRIED!!

With all this talk of engagements and anticipation for upcoming weddings, we thought this was the perfect time to take a stroll down memory lane and feature a few of our couples whose weddings and details of the day we haven't yet had the chance to post. Enjoy!

Erin & Jed were married at The Courtyard Restaurant. Alan Viau of All Seasons Wedding Ceremonies officiated the intimate ceremony with the stone wall in the McArthur room acting as their backdrop.  Cocktails and a dinner reception with fabulous food followed. 

Erin and her bridal party started their day at The Westin getting hair and makeup done by Lisa Cava and Sarah Walsh. The gorgeous wedding party flowers, centerpieces and arrangements were created by Flowers Talk. The table runners and chair covers from Mastermind Events helped tie their wedding colours, a bright yellow and steel grey, together.  While PM Event Services rocked the house, guests devoured the late night poutine and cupcakes from The Cupcake Lounge.

Blair Gable captured some great shots of Erin & Jed on their wedding day.  We can't get enough of his photojournalistic style.  And we're not the only ones who love him.  Weddingbells named him one of thirty most inspiring photographers of 2014.  This is what they had to say, "Few photographers can light a photo as artfully as Blair Gable. CHRYSTINE & DAN GET MARRIED!!

Before Viva went on hiatus we posted images of Chrystine & Dan's engagement session with the fabulous Barb Cameron of Barbara Ann Studios. Their wedding day has of course come and gone but since we know how anxiously you await Viva's "MARRIED!!" posts that usually follow soon after our "ENGAGED!!" posts, we couldn't leave you hanging without sharing a few images of their amazing wedding day.

So many top notch vendors were on board it wouldn't be right to jump to the images without naming a few. Alan Viau of All Seasons Wedding Ceremonies officiated the lovely ceremony.  Guests enjoyed tasty treats and refreshments prior to and following the ceremony catered by Thyme & Again.  A steel drum band arranged by Quality Entertainment greeted guests as they arrived at the Canadian Museum of Civilization for the reception.  Rentals for the ceremony and reception were provided by Party Time and Groovy Linen. Dan worked closely with Sarah of Sarah J's Cupcakes to create the perfect cupcake stand for her to-die-for cupcakes and Pretty-Fours created the macaron tower that was displayed along side their candy buffet. Last but not least, the beautiful flowers were all done by Autumn Lane Florist.  The arrangements were simply stunning!

LAUREN & GREG GET MARRIED!!

Lauren & Greg were married in what was a beautiful ceremony at Blessed Sacrament Parish in the Glebe followed by a fabulous cocktail hour and dinner reception at the Museum of Nature. Lauren was absolutely stunning in her custom Janine Adamyk gown and her bridesmaids all wore Two Birds dresses - The dress you can wear over 15 different ways available at With Love Bridal Boutique! So many outstanding vendors played a part in making this wedding all that it was. Tulips & Maple made everyone’s mouth water not only during the cocktail hour and dinner but again late night when they brought out the gnocchi poutine. Art-Is-In created the eye catching macaron cake. Delish! Tivoli was responsible for all the floral including the striking centerpieces found on each guest table. Mikaza added to the decor with a stylish lounge area. Of course we can’t forget the music. Virtuosi set the mood at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and during dinner while Prestige Entertainment kept the guests on their feet throughout the reception. JESSICA & MARTIN GET MARRIED!!
